MISSION
The mission of the Technology management department is to train internationally competitive specialists and researchers in the fields of technology & innovation management, production management, management, and tourism and become a leading professional department at the national level.
FACULTY AND & STAFF
The history of the development of the Technology management department began in 1959, when the Faculty of Industrial Economics was established under the Mongolian National University and began to train engineer-economists. Today, the Technology management department is operating with a total of 18 professors and lecturers and 1 training master. 38.8 percent of all teachers in the department have Ph.D., and 17 percent are associate professors and professors.

- Technology management, development management, technology transfer, technology level assessment;
- Tourism industry market research, tourist behavior, tourism policy planning and analysis
- Development of entrepreneurship, small and medium business;
- Development of innovation, innovation management, innovation system, innovation infrastructure, industrial park, technology, business incubation, national innovation system;
- Development and competitiveness studies of industry, telecommunications and service sectors;
- Productivity management, efficiency and productivity improvement program implementation issues;
- Quality management, standardization, quality assurance, quality management system formation in accordance with ISO9001 international standard;
MAJORS: TEACHING & LEARNING
The Department of Technology Management provides economics and business education courses to students of engineering and other programs at Mongolian University of Science and Technology, as well as implementing undergraduate programs in Tourism, Management, Production Management, and Information and Communication Technology Management.
